| A tear burns in her eye her face stinging with anger her heart aching with pain as he raises his fist, and strikes her beautiful structure once more, Telling herself not to beleive his lies She fears the inhumane soul he possesses his strength overpowers her as her tears flow down her flushed cheeks her heart burns with misery his torchure to her body her love swallowing the harsh reality that his thunderous fist will lay upon her face just to strike, but never to carress She wonders where she took a wrong turn what she did to deserve such torment Is love supposed to be agonizing? Should the pain be so tremendous? For this is the only love she knows, no time to learn The bruises that cover her body the words circling her mind " I'll be better next time" "Its only his anger, its not his fault" after many instances of violence and pain She attempts to escape him only making his anger explode with rage fear of being alone, she returnes to his fist experiencing his fury once again Lying on the ground, blood seeking from her head looking at the ceiling, as it becomes very blurry Faint voices calling to her, she sees her love out of the corner of her eye She knew this would be her fate Her soul lifting to eternal escape, pleasure at last, as the final sight of him goes dim |
