A Lesson of Love
What do you think of when you think of me?
You entrusted me with your heart and light,
the fire between us burned so bright,
Are you glad we will never be?

What do you remember when you remember me?
The one that loved you helplessly,
Or the one that hurt you selfishly,
Do any our memories bring you any glee?

What do you dream when you dream of me?
For you and me to be back as one,
Or for the haunting memory to pass and be gone.
Do you wish to be loose and free?

What do you feel when you hear of me?
Does that passion burn bright,
Or does your rage ignight,
Will you ever walk the same path with me?

There was a moment when I hurt you,
I know it sticks out.
Many times I showed you I loved you.
Do they now not count?

The lesson for all is there,
For those with sharp sight.
That even the slightest dark,
Can destroy abundent light.
