Lucien Argeneau
You would think writing about Lucien would be one of the more difficult tasks set before me, but it's surprisingly easy.  The story is less than original.  Guy meets girl.  Girl hates guy.  Lots of witty banter and BAM!  Sex in the middle of the basement.  I honestly never thought anything about my life would echo a comedy or romance novel, but here's Lucien.  Just when I get to thinking that I will never love and be loved in return, he waltzes into my life.  Everyone says there's no future in it, but I don't care.  For the present, I'm content.  I can't remember ever being so happy with another person.  We just work.
"When I first became involved with Tranns, everyone was warning her to
stay away from me.  There was pretty much no one in the House that thought I actually had any real feelings for her.  I’m not sure that  very many people even now think that I do.  But I owe her everything.  Up until I met Tranns, I spent my life searching for something to care about.  When I met her, I got more than a lover.  Tranns helped me find my cause.  I love her more than anything."
