| Name: Eponine Actress: Lea Salonga Show: Les Miserables Similarities: There is nothing as tragic as unrequited love, as both Tranns and Eponine know. Like Tranns, Eponine fell in love and fell hard. Unfortunately, the object of her affection did not return that love and so Eponine, and Tranns as well, made the ultimate sacrifice so that he could be happy, even if it wasn't with her. Both Eponine and Tranns are tough and streetwise, with an uncanny ability to make their way around and avoid the law. Eponine is just as stupidly fearless as Tranns, risking her life over the minorest of trifles. In addition, both women are passionate, but try to bottle up their emotions inside, rather than showing them outright. |

Streetwise and independent, these girls know how to deal with even the shadiest of characters. Like Tranns, Mimi is fiesty and very sexual. She has a tendency to explode. Both Mimi and Tranns enjoy thumbing their noses at authority and try to show no fear of the consequences. Mimi is very aggressive with the men in her life and tends to use salty language, much like Tranns. Both women have strained family relationships, having left home at a very young age, but they make their own families. |

Often an outsider and constantly different due to her physical appearances, Elphaba grew to be very smart, but a social misfit who only found her place when she eventually found a cause. Despite good intentions, Elphaba became viewed as a terrorist and a threat. Like Tranns, she was forced to make some of the ultimate sacrifices to change the world. In going after what she believed, Elphaba converted the object of her desires, Fiyero, from a careless slacker to a hero. Tranns helped Lucien do the same. |
