It was evident that people are struggling to build a relationship with God. There was a sense that people WANT to enter into this relationship, but they do not realize that THEY have to take the initial steps to build this relationship. Instead, they are waiting for IT to come to them.

People are also looking to relate to others through entering into discussion with one another. They are looking for action and interaction. They are seeking help to live the WORD. There was a call to get back to
basics. It is not theology, which is needed, but help in the PRACTICE. The theme "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do) resounded.

The Parish Council will take those results into account when planning future undertakings.

A Day of Reflection is being planned for May 21, 2005 in the Fr. Penny Hall from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. The purpose of this day is to provide time for the Parish Council members to review their activities over the past five years (since its inception) and reflect through prayer and fruitful discussion the future mandate and priorities of the Parish Council over the next few years keeping in mind that their attention should be
to stimulate the faith-life of the Parish.
For this undertaking to be successful all members of the Parish Council are asked to make every effort to attend. Sr. Kay Duffin CND will be the Moderator for the day.
