| Apparation Mishap!
By Ciria Cresentlight Last Saturday a MCCD (Magical Creatures Control Department) employee, Lawerence Gooplestein, had a Apparation mishap...apparently he was thinking of visiting his mother after work and half his body appear at the ministry and his mother's doorstep. The inccident almost gave elderly Mrs. Gooplestein a heart attack, the Magical Accidents and Mishaps department finally Straighten it out the coming Sunday morning, The ministry had to ease the inccindent from 15 muggles' minds. Warning to all students!!! Think of your destination only!! |
| MOM Selects Author of the Year by Zoey Taylor The Ministry of Magic has decided to start a new tradition in that they will be naming an author of the year from now on. The winner of the award will be one who is out participating in helping out the community in hopes to help benefit the wizarding world as well as his writing. |
| Flourish On Fire!
By Ronald Weasley Late last Tuesday around 1 am, after Flourish and Blotts experienced a large fire that destroyed everything in the store. What a great time for the store to catch on fire…Especially during their back to school sale that they were having that week. When store owners saw the store later Tuesday morning, they were outraged at the sight of the burnt down store. With observing the ruined store, they saw traces of candle wax and shards of glass from a lantern that was laying on the floor. They then furthered their investigation by questioning the night caretaker of the store. The night caretaker claimed he had nothing to do with the fire, nor did he knock down the lantern. He also said that they had no proof that the lantern is what caused the fire. That’s all he had to say at the time. |
| The winner of this years award was announced yesterday, and was none other than Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. Professor Lockhart, or Deputy Headmaster Lockhart as he is referred to from his pupils at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry works hard there to help educate our young witches and wizards in the areas of Transfiguration, and Care of Magical Creatures. He has also stepped up to be the Head of House for the house of Hufflepuff.
Besides his work at the school he is often seen at bookstores throughout the wizarding world such as Flourish and Blotts doing book signings and meeting his many adoring fans. From the staff of the Transfigurations Today we’d like to congratulate you on your newest award Professor. |
