| Angel's Flight | ||||||||
| The Angel's Flight funicular railway in downtown Los Angeles was originally opened in 1901 at 3rd & Hill Streets and operated until 1969. It returned in February 1996 at a new location at 4th & Hill Streets. It was closed following a fatal accident in February 2001, I don't know it it has reopened. All of the following pictures were taken opening day in February 1996. It was too crowded for me to ride that day, but I did ride it six months later. |
