Margaret's Love Life |
This page talks about the many people that Margaret was with. For people like Frank, we will go in detail. For others, like certain generals, we will probably just list their names. Remember, Margaret was called "Hot Lips" for a reason! |
Frank: Margaret and Frank were seeing each other "secretly," even though Frank was married. Everyone in the camp knew about what went on between them, but Margaret and Frank thought they were very descreet. The two caused trouble at the 4077 with their many calls and letters to General Clayton. Hawkeye, Trapper and BJ did many things to disturb the realationship between Frank and Margaret, including hiding in Margaret's bed, and maiking her tent collapse with Hot Lips and Ferret Face in it. This relationship ended when Margaret got engaged. Frank ended up getting a Section 8 when he went crazy after Margaret got married. |
Hawkeye: Many people think there was a spark between Hawkeye and Margaret. The two never really declared their love to each other, but they shared plenty of kisses! For example in Comrades in Arms, Dear Dad, and Goodbye, Farewell, Amen, to name a few episodes with kisses. Hawkeye and Margaret also shared many experiences, like being in a aid station, being in Chinese territory to save a soldier's life, heading the camp during a flu epidemic, and going back the 4077 by theirselves when it was being shelled to save a soldier's life. Read reunion fan fiction, and you will see that this is the relationship that seems most popular in stories. |
Trapper: Some people have a theory that Margaret had a thing for Trapper. If you watch Bombed or Hot Lips and Empty Arms, you can see something between these two. They also shared several kisses. Nothing could really happen between these two, because Trapper was married, although that didn't normally stop him. |
Charles: Margaret and Charles seemed to have something going sometimes. Sometimes, Charles thought that Margaret was the most "civilized" person at the 4077. In The Light That Failed, the two seemed to get very nervous when Charles was reading to Margaret. In The Winchester Tapes, when Charles is looking in Margaret's eye, he also seems to get very nervous. In War of Nerves, Margaret and Charles both had interesting conversations with Sidney. In Say No More Charles is very helpful to Margaret. Also, in Goodbye, Farewell, Amen, Charles gives Margaret the book at the end. They had a nice goodbye scene. |
Donald: Who could forget, though, that Margaret was married. We don't know a whole lot about her marriage with Donald Penobscott, except that it was a quick engagement and a quick marriage that ended fast. We also know that he fooled around and didn't treat Margaret with a lot of respect. She always goes for those higher military men. |
Scully: Margaret first met Scully at Rosie's Bar in "A Night At Rosie's." Scully was AWOL at the time, and ended up leaving rather quickly, but not before Margaret could say how much she liked him. In "Stars and Stripe," the two ended up breaking up, due to a personality clash. |
General Hamilton Hammond-called Margaret Hot Lips when he went to the 4077 General Clayton-There were slides of Margaret and him together. Also there were hints of a relationship all through the show Ignazio De Simone-followed Margaret around, and threatened Charles General Kelly-died in Margaret's tent R. Theodore Williamson-wanted to have an affair with Margaret or court martial her Philip Sherman-attacked Margaret Captain Greenleigh: It was short and bittersweet General Barker: She can't keep her hands off those higher ranks Per: This really proved that Margaret had grown a lot Major Burnham: Well, it was another one of those quick ones Marty Ubanchic: I don't think they had a "fling", but they did spend a whole night together (he taught Margaret how to bowl well) |
Maybe Margaret is just better off staying single for life! |
