Visiting Serbia & Bosnia 2001/2002

Some of the very last steam locomotives in regular service in Europe can be found in the Balkan, in two states of former Republic of Yugoslavia: Serbia (which is still officially known as Republic of Yugoslavia) and Bosnia-Herzegovina. After many years of open hostility to photographers, especially those from Western countries, it is now possible to arrange visits to those industrial railways in these countries still using steam. How much longer steam will survive in the Balkan is questionable and an early visit is advised.

Visits are based on groups 20 - 50 people as well as for the individual tours, as available on request.
