* Museum Railway “Sargan Mountain Railway - Mokra Gora

Trough the valley spread on stops of three Serbian mountain beauties: Tara, Zlatibor and Sargan, one of the most beautiful railway routes of the world used to run till 1974. On the narrow gauge line connected Beograd and Sarajevo popular train “Cira” used to cruse.

300 m difference in altitude from Mokra Gora to Sargan was resolved wisely by designers and constructors in a unique and the only possible way - by an extraordinary loop in the shape of number eight - the popular “Sargan Eight”.

The eight is 13,5 km long including 22 tunnels and ten bridges and viaducts making one third of the total line length.

 So far the alignment has been preparing 8 km of track between stations Sargan Vitasi and Jatare and 0.8 km between Mokra Gora and Mokra Gora elementary school. Three steam locomotives where overhauled namely: “Skoda” 25-27, 0-6-0 T, 2527/1949, ex coal mine Banovici, “ELZA” build in Hungary 1911, 0-6-0 T, ex Sugar Factory Zrenjanin and classic ex JZ 83-173, 0-8-0, D. Djakovic 129/1948. Several freight and passenger wagons have been repaired.

On this location can be seen another narrow gauge railway gage 600 mm from Bele Vode  600 m of track is a part of future 2 km line to Jatarice. One steam loco with three passenger wagons are working there - D. Djakovic 0-6-0 T, 88/1947, ex forest railway Visnjicevo.
