SUGGESTED LIST OF THINGS TO BRING FOR TreKKing

1. Bagpack or Duffle bag of 60 liters
2. A good day pack with waist strap
3. Seasoned pair of trekking shoe, additional pair of sports shoe, sandals or slippers
4. T-shirts (polyester) or micro-fleece shirts, Trackpants, windbreaker, downjackets, down-sleeping bag
5. Heatpacks / Hot water BAG
6. Disposable underwear
7. Thermal underwear (wollen for sleeping and polyester for trekking)
8. Wollen sweaters, gloves, cap/hat, scraves (Very essential)
9. Wollen/thick socks, bring 2 extra pairs
10. SUNhat, Sunblock, Sunglass, moisturiser/lipgloss
11. Personal toiletries - toilet paper, wet-tissues, shampoo, powder, towel, etc)
12. Swiss Army knife (if any)
13. Water Bottle (1 litre) - for hot water as well
14. Torchlight + batteries
15. Camera/films or digital camera + backup battery pack
16. Snacks - museli bars, chocolates, dried nuts&fruits, vitamins
17. First Aid Kit - medicated oils, panadols, pills for stomachache, flu tablets, antiseptic creame, deepheat rub, knee/ankle guard, other personal medication)
18. PASSPORT (6 months validity before departure)
19. MONEY!
20. Optional Donation: T-shirts, children's clothing, blankets/bed-sheets, stationaries, pen/pencils/booklets, towels etc. are welcome.   

* Items such as down-jacket and sleeping bags available for rent in Kathmandu. ~ 30-35 Rp per day.  Deposit range from 5000-6000 Rp. It is also recommended that you have your personal inner lining for better hygiene purposes.

*IMPORTANT (PACK LIGHT)
A max load of 12kg is allowed for each individual's luggage.  It is advisable for you to minimize your baggage and leave unneccessary items/clothes at the hotel or guest-house.  Items will be stored until your return from the trek.
NEPAL Tourist VISA :
USD30 at the arrival immgration counter + 2 passport size photo.
* Bring an extra photo just in case.
*Ensure you have Rp 1100 for the departure tax.

INDIA Tourist VISA :
S$ 80 , ~ USD40

TRAVEL Insurance:
Please purchase travel insurance in home country that includes
emergency helicopter evacuation.
Insurance premium depends on the no. of days covered.

Additional Advice:
For day trekking - cotton T-shirts are NOT recommended because cotton is difficult to dry.  The BEST is still polyester shirt.  This is to help prevent pneumonia or illness along the trip.
