| Tulum has some wonderful accomidations on the beach, most of them are small cabanas. They can be a wonderful place to stay if you don't mind that some of the rooms have no electricity or air conditioning. Tulum is also great if you want to get away from all the mega resorts in Cancun and Playacar as well as other areas of the Riviera Maya. Below are just some of the small hotels and cabanas in Tulum. Cabanas Copal - They have several different options for cabana accomidations. They have cabanas for 4 people with private bathroom, ocean view or garden view. Cabanas for 2 people with private bathroom, ocean view or garden view. Cabanas with common bathrooms and cabanas with bunk beds. All cabañas are romantically candlelit in the evenings, as there is no electricity on the Tulum beach. The beachfront side of the hotel has a wide series of windows, allowing the Caribbean sea breeze to enter and making the cabanas fresh and comfortable at any time of the year. They also have a wonderful restaurant, Cafe Blue. Cabañas La Conchita - This cabanas/bed and breakfast has eight rooms on the beach. Built in the Mayan tradition and hidden on one of the most specatcular beaches in Tulum these cabanas are a wonderful place to spend a vacation. El Paraiso Beach Club and Cabanas - This hotel has 6 rooms and 4 cabanas. The rooms have 2 double beds with electricity, hot water and fan. The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant on the beach with fresh seafood and wood oven pizza. Ana y Jose - This small beach hotel has 15 rooms all with 2 double beds, private bathroom, fan and hot water. This hotel also has one of the best restaurants in the Riviera Maya which cooked in traditional Mayan flavors. They have lobster as well as other seafood specialties. Zamas - The 15 thatch roof bungalows of Zamas are done in rustic chic arquitecture. Influenced by the native Mayan construction and laced with traditional Mexican design, the bungalows sports splashes of vivid broken tiles, of color coated stucco and expanses of Mexican paver floors. room options are from suites to rooms with shared bathrooms. Zamas restaurant, ¡Que Fresco!, has Mexican, Mayan and Italian cuisine featuring fresh seafood and smoky salsas and wood fired pizza. Las Ranitas - 16 elegantly decorated rooms all overlooking the sea. All rooms have either 2 queen or one king size bed. Swimming pool and paddle- tennis court are discreetly hidden in a lush tropical garden. The restaurant serves french and Mexican cuisine. Las Ranitas is located only 1km from the entrance to Sian Ka'an Biosphere. Villa Tulum - The hotel is new and has 18 rooms located on three different floors. Every room has a living area, full bathroom, closet, room safe, hot water, and 24hr. electrical service. The restaurant serves regional cusine. Posada Dos Ceibas - Consisting of 8 circular bungalows fashioned after mayan tradition and mixing with the colors of the Mexican Caribbean, Posada Dos Ceibas is a place of tranquility.The hotel is located on the beach in front of the Mexican Caribbean's great coral reef. The bungalows feature Mexican style decorations with Mayan characteristics and marine motifs, situated in a tropical garden. All rooms include light generated by solar panels, fully equipped bathroom with hot water and a terrace with hammock. Los Lirios Cabanas - Los Lirios Cabañas Tulum Hotel features junior suites deluxe cabins with 1 king or 2 double size beds, private bath with tub and shower, air conditioning with remote control, telephone, living room plus mosquito net windows and a terrace with chairs and a hammock. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a spectacular ocean view in the beachfront restaurant, Los Corales. The hotel offers its guests a variety of services including massage, Yoga classes, car and 4-wheel motorcycle rental and tours to the area's numerous attractions. |
