Travis Tanner
a contemporary oratorio

New York City, 2003--the aftermath of 9/11.

Leila Knowles (alto) starts her graduate thesis about comedy and spirituality.  When her favorite comedian, Travis Tanner (tenor), known for his equal-opportunity insults, suddenly starts talking pro-Bush, pro-war, and anti-liberal, Leila intrudes into his neoconservative world, determined to win Travis back from the Dark Side.

Rounding out the cast: curmudgeonly comedian Jim Frank (baritone), an ethereal Voice or two (soprano), and a spectrum of Red, Blue, and White protestors, pundits, and people!
