Basic Nature: Flying, moving, fresh, intelligent, suspending. Sound is a manifestation of this element.
Colors: Yellow (the yellow of the sun and the sky at dawn), white, pastels
Direction: East (the place of the sunrise)
Elemental: Sprites
Elemental Meditation: Being blown by the winds, having the winds pick you up into them, a leaf in the breeze, flying
Herbs: Chamomile, calendula, yarrow, vervain. Fragrant, as many flowers; pungent, as in culinary herbs such as dill; airy, finely-veined, or wind-swept; generally leaves.
Metals: Tin and copper
Musical Instruments: Flute and all other wind instruments.
Natural Symbols: A feather, incense smoke, fragrant flowers

Elemental Meditations: The hottest desert you’ve ever imagined, being a flame, standing on an endless stretch of hot lava
Herbs: Goldenseal, St. Johns wort, buckthorne, white oak, stinging, thorny or hot, as thistles, chile peppers and bougainvillea; desert- dwelling, as cati; stimulating, as coffee beans; generally seeds.
Metals: Gold and brass.
Musical instrument: Guitar, all stringed instruments.
Natural Symbols: Flame, lava, a heated object, candle, ash, olivine
