3. Secretary Report
I will now be e-mailing you the minutes. If you miss a meeting it is your responsibility to get caught up with the
info. Please don't come to the following meeting and ask questions about everything unless relevant. So that we don't spend too much time on minutes from last meeting please read your minutes on e-mail prior to attending the meeting if possible. Thank you!
4. Registration $$ is due no later than October 31st according to the blue pamflet. The fee is 70$ or there are other options of payment. Please bring some kind of payment to the next meeting on October 8th 2002. IF you are planning to pay by check:

5. Treasurer : Shannon... NO report bc no money. :) Therefore she wants our registration money next meeting
6. Old Business:
a. Travel - To be discussed next meeting - 5 people interested

b. Camp- Senior Branch Camp - Unit -No but individuals can talk or e-mail Marianne because she will be going.
c. Unit Ccamp- Yes. December 6, 7, 8 or Dec 14, 15, 16th?
Which dates are better for everyone ? Please e-mail Tanya at mrs_wicket@yahoo.ca by September 25th to confirm. She needs an answer. It will be held at Camp Woolsey.
d. Nearly New Shop/ Nelson House
4 people went/ bad turnout/ Clothes donations Val, Erin, Marianne, Christina if we would please have some others bring in anything if possible to the next meetings that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
Erin will look into our unit doing service work all year for Nelson House / Nearly New if wanted. (Erin get back to use please)
Some Ideas were:
Do Activities with Children there- Give mom a break
Cleaning
Cooking a meal for them
Christmas Gifts
Raise money through JC Slave Auction for Nelson House
Toiletry items ( Ask for an extra from your dentist)
7. New Business:
a. Wakeover : Yes ---Fall
Go to many places...too many to talk about
b. Tee Shirts: Christina gave us designs
We voted on them and then gave Tanya them to play with at work
c. Uniforms - MUST wear them to meetings
- Meetings take place second tuesday of the month from 7-9 at the Manordale Community centre on Knoxdale Rd. We need to look official. For those of you who are in the Ranger PRogram: We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month stating on October 22 at the same location. This gives us a chance to do some program work if we wish.
d. Discussed Program Work: Get some done / Optional
e. First Aid Course- Possibly in October a sat and sun from 8-4:30. We need to think of which weekend.
