The exact placement of the shooter cheek against the stock of the weapon.

What is eye relief?
The distance of the shooting eye to the rear sight aperture. Eye relief differs from shooter to shooter.

What is breath control?
An interruption in breathing at the natural respiratory pause to allow for proper sight picture.

What is trigger control?
A slow, steady squeeze straight to the rear, so the rifle fires without the shooters knowledge.

What are the two types of trigger pull?
Interrupted and uninterrupted.

What affects the rounds traveling down range?
Wind, precipitation, light

What is the length of the male service trousers?
A variation of 1/4 inch above or below the welt of the shoe.

What is the length of the female service trousers?

ORGANIZATIONS AND ATTACHMENTS

What does MAGTF stand for?
Marine, Air, Ground, Task, Force.

How many components are in a MAGTF regardless of size and what are they?
Four, a command element, A ground combat element, an aviation combat element, and a combat service support element.

What are the three types of MAGTF's?
MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit), MEF (Marine Expeditionary Force), SP (Special Purpose)

Describe a MEU MAGTF.
It is the smallest MAGTF, possessing the basic characteristics of the largest air/ground task forces. It is a task organization which is normally built around a battalion landing team and a composite squadron and is usually commanded by a colonel. (Such as a Med or WestPac float.)

Describe a SP MAGTF.It is suited to be a specific tactical mission requiring a combined arms force from two to five times the size and combat power of a MEU. It is a task organization which is normally build around a regimental landing team and a provisional Marine Aircraft Group and is normally commanded by a brigadier general. (Such as Operation Desert Storm, Haiti, and Somalia.)

Describe a MEF MAGTF.
It is the largest MAGTF, normally build around a complete division/wing team. However, it may range in size from less than a complete division/wing team up to several divisions and aircraft wings, together with an appropriate combat service support organization. It is commanded by either a major general or a lieutenant general depending on its size and mission. (Such as the Marine's Pacific campaign in World War II.)

What are the primary considerations for the MAGTF Operational Planning Doctrine?
Host country agreements, Rules of engagement, Operational restrictions, Treaties, Status of Forces agreements.

Name the ships considered as the "amphibious warfare ships" and describe their use.
LST: (Tank Landing Ship) Used to transport and offload tanks, artillery, and logistic vehicles from the extended bow ramp onto a beach with a grade of 1:20 to 1:50, or upon a pontoon causeway. Amphibious vehicles can be launched from the stern gate.
LSD: (Dock Landing Ship) Used to transport amphibious task forces and landing craft off the flooded well deck through the stern gate.
LPD: (Amphibious Cargo Ship) Used to transport amphibious task forces and landing craft off the flooded well deck through the stern gate, or via helicopter off of the flight deck.
LKA: (Amphibious Cargo Ship) Used to transport combat cargo by means of embarked landing craft.
LPH: (Amphibious Assault Ship) Used to transport troops and equipment and land them ashore by means of the embarked helicopters.
LHA: (General Purpose Assault) Used to embark, transport, and deploy troops by means of amphibious vehicles and helicopters.
LHD: (Multipurpose Assault Ship) Used to embark, transport, and deploy troops by means of LCAC and helicopter, and be used as a base for the AV-8B Harrier V/STOL and anti-submarine aircraft.
LCC: (Amphibious Command Ship) Used as a flagship and headquarters for the amphibious task force commander and landing force commander.
LPA: (Amphibious Transport Ship) Used to transport troops, supplies and equipment and land them by means of embarked amphibious vehicles, or helicopter brought to the area by another ship.
LPSS: (Amphibious Transport Submarine Ship) Transport small specialized bodies of troops, such as underwater demolition and Marine reconnaissance expeditions.

What are Maritime Preposition Ships?
(MPS)Civilian ships contracted and refitted (if necessary) to carry DoD supplies and equipment. Manned totally by civilians, the three squadrons of ships (MPS1, MPS2, and MPS3) aid in the quickness that Marines can be ready "on station" in specific regions of the world.
