This is a re-release of an earlier version of this show. This is sourced from
the Master DAT and sounds much better than the original. The version of this
show most Rush collectors would recall would be "That's
Entertainment". If you that version, I think you will agree that this is
an nice upgrade. If you don't have it, what are you waiting for. This is an
excellent sounding audience recording, with a great set list.
The Digital Dan:
Sourced from the master, this is a significant improvement over the
"That's Entertainment" release. The annoying static (most likely
distortion from pegged levels) is now absent leaving only one of the most
crisp, clear, and amazing audience sources of all time. Not only is this a
great Presto show, but one of the best Rush audience shows ever. The mix is
close to perfect and makes a great compliment to the Omni and Hartford shows.
Everyone owes the taper of this show a huge debt of gratitude for their
efforts. This is as good as it gets. Just throw in disc 2 and crank "La
Villa Strangiato" and you'll know what I'm talking about. As with all
Digital Reproductions releases, this is for free trade or blank trade only.
Please do not buy or sell, keep the spirit of trading alive and well!
LeeGeddy:
A fantastic sounding AUD show!! I've had "That's Entertainment-Remaster
release for quite some time now, and this release sounds better, IMO. I think
this show is just as good as The Omni show. The sound is powerful with lots of
deep low end, crisp highs and good mid range punch, which I like. It's a
fantastic recording and every Rush collector should have this show in their
collection. You won't go wrong with this one. Please do not Buy this recording,
as it is available for free through trades. (JAN '02)
