At four days old the shading is becoming more apparent.  The kit can now crawl upright without tipping over as much as a couple days ago.
At 7 days old the kit now has a pretty good coat of fur and the shading is very noticable.  She is also gaining more weight.
At 10 days the kit begins to open her eyes.  She has much more control over her body now and is getting more fur.  The ears are starting to lop.
Two weeks old and the kit is getting much more fur and her ears are almost completely lopped.  She is starting to nibble on hay in her nest box.  She sleeps almost all day.

And here's Chloe at 7 weeks.  She's fully weaned and on her own and  just waiting for her first show!

~Watch me grow!~
Only hours old, this little
sable point kit is born
hairless with eyes closed.
Without the warmth of a
nest of fur pulled from it's
mother the kit will die.

And here's Chloe now!!  She's growing into a very beautiful girl!   She won her first BOB the other weekend at 5 months old against some very tuff
competition.  I'm so proud of her.
..
The kit is now 2 days old.  She
is starting to get her fur.  She
can crawl, but has ver little
control over her body.

This little doe has now been named
Old Orchard's Chloe.  She is 5
weeks old now.
At 3 weeks old she has left the
nest box, is eating oats, hay and
pellets, and nursing less and less
from her mom.  She can now
run, jump, play, and stand on
her back legs.
