The Trees

Due to popular demand the Trees are back and their music lives on.

Many Trees sites have cropped up over the years but none so far has merited a link - until now! Created by "5th" Tree Alcabs Corrigal, this site is a personal homage to a part of his life best left uncovered. "It is like turning over rock in your garden, and loads of creepie-crawlies scatter everywhere".

Featuring the Trees famous outdoor gig at Aberdeen's now infamous St. Nicholas shopping centre in 1986 - click on the link below to hear some booze fuelled chaos subverting the concept of pop. This gig eventually led to the downfall of Margaret Thatcher.

Click below to hear a previously unreleased recording of Rat Ewens's first ever Country 'n Westrin gig as Canyon. This was recorded at the Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen in '85 and features Styx on bass/vocals, tombola on drums and Alcabs on space/helicopter noises.
