| Jim and Joyce Stroop began Treetop-Acres in 1983. They began raising Alpines and Saanens. In 1989 their son, Shawn purchased their first Oberhasli from Mary Slabach of Wil-Mar-Hills. They worked hard in breeding exceptional genetics into their herd and had the pride of breeding not one but two Nationals Champions, 1994 and 2002, along with many top ten placings over the years. In 2004 they gave the herd to me along with exclusive rights to the herd name Treetop-Acres. I am working hard to fulfill their shoes in breeding exceptional Oberhasli.
