Update on Shawn C. Stroop, he is a Captain in the United States Army serving in his 15th year. His most recent deployment was 15 months in Iraq 2003/04. He has also served 8 months in Bosnia, Veteran of Desert Storm, a year in Korea, a year in Germany, and many other places of interest.  He is married to Amy Bihl and they have a beautiful 12 year old daughter and a 6 year old son.

In the Late 1980's Shawn purchased 5 Oberhasli does from Mary Slabach of Wil-Mar-Hills. This was the start of Jim and Joyce Stroop's Oberhasli. Little did they know that they would have two National Champions.
