| The U.S.S. Odyssey NCC 45601 is an Ambassador Class ship. The Ambassador Class was built to replace the Excelsior Class as the Flagship of Starfleet. The Ambassador has held the name of many famous ships, most noteable is the Enterprise-C. The Ambassador Class is unofficialy a "battleship." It was the first ship to have armor plates as standard equipment. It is loaded with heavy weapons and extra strong sheilds. It also has one of the fastest warp drives of the time. The Class has preformed magnificently in every role it has been placed. The Class is the third oldest class to still be in construction. It is a vivid reminder of what great ships Starfleet can put out, a true credit to the fleet. |
