A
bio? Why not...everyone else has one!
Drumming for me started at the age of 5 when my folks bought me a K-Mart Bang 'n' Play set one Christmas morning many moons ago. (Click here to see my first performance!)
As the years progressed, I dabbled with other instruments, most notably the guitar, bass and piano, but drumming, however, has always remained at the center of my musical endeavors. In my teens, I was influenced by the progressive rock of the 80's, and although I look like a throw back from that time in the picture to the left, I am also well versed in current styles ranging from punk to funk and rock to contemporary jazz.
As a player, I believe in working off the energy of other musicians and not overplaying. The focal point of the band should not be any one player, but instead, the quality of the music.
I'm a long-time resident of New Jersey and work as a Video Control Room Operator in Ridgewood, NJ. Currently, I perform session drumming at REM Studios.
