Biography

Trent Reznor was born Micheal Trent Reznor to the parents Micheal and Nancy Reznor. Trent, born in Mercer, Pennsylvania at 7:30A.M. on May 17,1965. Trent was trained as a classical pianist during his small-town childhood. He also learned to play saxophone and the tuba he played the tenor sax and keyboards in his high school jazz and marching band. At age 5 Trent's parents divorced and he was sent to live with his grandparents. He was also separated from his younger sister Tera (born in 1971) for most of their upbringing. She is now a mother of two. While living with his grandparents they brought him up to have a strong Protestant religious background, (apparently not that strong). it was around 13 when Trent realized he could express himself through music.

As a child,Trent was repeatedly ridiculed because he had to wear a swimming cap due to problems with his ear wich caused him to undergo a series of operations to relieve pressure off his eardrum. evenso Trent was in the boyscouts, skateboarded, Played the piano and built model planes.His allergies stemed anywhere from cats and dust to grass and ragweed. In highschool Trent was seen as a shy loner. He hung out by himself, and like most loners hated classes. He also had a dog named Daisy.He furthered his educatipon with one year at Alleghany College his Majors were Computer Engineering & Music.
