Peter Bissonette
The Trespassers' "Sloth" 2007 Interview

Arguably the most memorable character from The Trespassers is the tall, red-haired fearless thug, Sloth. Pete Bissonette played the role, injecting the character with just enough comedy and flare, turning what could have ended up a carbon-copy bad guy into a popular, intreguing scene-stealer. We caught up with Pete nearly two decades after he played the role to get his own recollections. You'll find that Mr. Bissonette is as cool as ever!
1. Pete, what do you remember about shooting "The Trespassers" all those years ago?
Peter: I remeber having alot of fun. That might have had something to do with all the jack's. But the company was pretty amazing too.

2. Your character is probably best remembered as the "comical heart and soul" of The Trespassers. How close was your character "Sloth" to the real Pete Bissonette?
P: I like to have fun like Sloth but I think I am a bit smarter then him.

(editor's note: Aren't we dumb! Maybe a bit more research next time!)

6. What are you up to these days?
P: I'm a site forman at a local railing company. I have a wife and 3 kids, 2 are step kids and my 6 yr old is mine. I live right in B.B. And I play bass and sing in a rightous heavy metal band called Bluntforce.

7. What's your reaction to what's become of the old "Sawyer" house (gutted by fire) where we shot the movie?
P: It sucks.

(Editor's note: Our kind of guy!!!)

9. If asked to reprise your Trespassers role in a sequel would you do it?

P: It's great to hear from Jason again.

11. What's your reaction to the film getting a new life on DVD and a website for a new generation to enjoy?
P:  I just wanna know where my royalties are going! LOL!
(Editor's Note: The first million must have gotten lost in the mail...)

12. One final question, what can you say to fans of your part in a little indie movie called "The Trespassers"?
