Reflections of Horror Acts of terror sound within the land, Present weighs too heavy on the soul, God in heaven, aid us now in our hour of anguish, Screaming rage throughout the country, Metal birds thundering into crystal mounts, Glass houses cascading down, Clouds of dust circle over head, Lives in toil, Grief unbearable, Appearance strained, Struggling to grasp meaning, Evil.......... Has no victory, This soil is limitless, Freedom shall prevail, Horrendous revulsion murmured all through the nation, Cries for vengeance ring, Essential that we don’t become the evil we pursue, Humane and moral, We stand large and humble, But firm in our beliefs that evil can’t win, Wickedness realizes we haunt, We had no indication, Evenhanded, Scarcely, We do not cower, Beasts of unholy alliance, Unconscionable deeds, Punishment mandatory, Shouting for Justice, Change is inevitable, Safety a factor, We guard that, which is precious, Caution is required, In an instance, Life as we know it , Shattered, We can defeat the unspeakable, We will emerge from the cinders, Remain unbothered, Don’t let evil experience victory, Believe in god, Believe in our leaders, Teach our children to be civilized beings, To respect life, To embrace the world, Above all else to act humane, Most importantly, Demonstrate trust and support, Soar red, white and blue, Mark solidarity, We are powerful, Liberty will dominate, Today reflects grave, Sins of harshness, Predestined combat to come, Young soldiers protect that, which we cherish, Life, independence, and a great leadership, Evil must be displaced, Empower the heads of state, Force criminals to their knees, War is imminent, Circumstances sealed, Stand solid, Display no fear, We are the strong, We are Americans.
