Trevor  Updates!!!
(As of: 12/08/99!)
I finally have time for another update!!!!!

Wow, what a year 1999 has been for us!  So many changes, where to begin.  Well, from my last update, Trevor got his G-Tube (Bard Button) in April so he didn't have to have that horrible tube running down his throat through his nose anymore.  This was a big, big turn around for us.  This was the last time Trevor was in the hospital..... for anything!!!  He's been very healthy and happy.  Since he's had the tummy tube, he's gotten up to 23 pounds!  He is now wearing size 2T clothes and the most impressive thing he is doing (he makes me so proud) is learning to crawl.  He just scoots right now, but he's slowly learning.  He also has started to babble.  He is my little trooper.... hanging tough through everything, still being his happy little self.  We've had some exceptions with colds and stuff, but nothing that landed him in the hospital again.  He seeks therapy 3 hours a week now which is a major improvement from just 1 hour a week.  He sees  a Speech therapist on Tuesdays, Orthopedic therapist on Wendesdays, and Physical Therapist on Thursdays.  He does well at all of them and two out of the three are held at our local Foundation For Blind Children location.  They have been so helpful to us through everything.  They not only look out for Trevor's best interest, but the entire family's.  Our newest thing is taking medicine for Reflux.  He developed that shortly after receiving the tummy tube.  Boy, talk about projectile vomitting!  He would start to cough and it was "WATCH OUT!"  So far, the medicine is working miracles with that problem.  He turned two years old the beginning of September.  What a party we had!  Had close friends and family meet at a local pizza place with games and rides.  I took him on the carosel they had with the horses that go up and down...... he loved it!  Oh yeah, another big addition this year was GLASSES!!!  Yup, he got glasses in August.  It's amazing cause from the first time I put them on him, he loved them!  People are always stopping and asking me how I get him to keep his glasses on.  I tell them "he just like them and doesn't want them off."  He's such a good kid.  I'm trying to find a way to get new updated pictures in the photo album.  Hopefully soon.  Well, that's a pretty good update for waiting so long to give one.  I'm working on those pictures next.  Again, (as always) to all our friends out there in internet land, thank you for your support and kind thoughts and prayers.  We are doing well and we hope you are all the same.  Hope you all have wonderful holidays and a safe new Millennium!
