| Comments: This is really beautiful. Trevor is a real trooper! I can relate somewhat. I have a Great Niece who was born with spina bifida and has been through numerous surgeries (one just today to tether her spine), so I know it takes a special person to deal wit a special child. Great job!! |

| Comments: I am enjoying my visit at your site. I have a 7 year old daughter who was exactly two months early. She has Cerebral Palsy. She is very bright. Although she does have some learning problems, her biggest problem is more physical than anything else. If you ant to meet her check out my website and click on my daughter's link. | Comments: Thank-you for your wonderful site. I am a nursing student and am hoping to get marks good enough to get me into pediatric or neonatal nursing. I think that by being able to read about the experiences of families that it may help me to become a better nu se. In my past experiences, I have found that sometimes the nurse who is caring for the child and the family does not always be the person the family expects them to be. By all accounts doing amazingly well considering the list. |

| Comments: Thank you for sharing Trevor's story. I am a woman who uses a wheelchair(I received a spinal cord injury when I was 26yrs. old) I am now 53yrs. old and I have been so richly blessed. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary. We have a wonder ul 22yr. old son that we adopted when he was 4mths. old. I earned a Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Counseling and worked as a job placement specialist helping people with all kinds of disabilities become a part of the work force. When I was working on my master's degree, I was t easurer for our disabled students group. We had people in wheelchairs, blind people (one a Viet Namn Vet and many able-bodied people. I believe God has a plan for each of our lives. And although there is testing and unknowns in every life; we find some unexpected joys because we appreciate and respect life. If Trevor is diagnosed with C.P., don't give up. I remember one fellow classmate who has C.P. He attended college, lived in a fraternity and completed college and works at an Independent Living Cen er teaching others to live independently. What I am saying is that disabled people can enjoy life much more than the media portrays. Sincerely., Linda |
