Policies:

1.   Attendance-

Attendance at all class meetings is required and is essential to your success in this class. Students are expected to be on time and to actively engage in discussions. More than 1 unexcused absence and/or tardy will result in a lower six week grade at my discretion. Absences will be excused only according to the school’s Code of Conduct.

2.         Grading-

3.   Late Work- I will accept late work, but it will have 5% taken off for everyday it is late. For example, if student A turns in an assignment 3 days late, it will have 15% taken off.

4.   Written Assignments-

All written assignments are to be typed double-spaced in a legible 12pt. font. Writing should exhibit professional quality and demonstrate mastery of organization, structure, and editing. Excessive grammar, spelling, and/or vocabulary errors will result in a reduction of points at my discretion.
