Point System

The point system works so that each player that makes the final table will earn points. Players that do not make it to the final table, do not earn any points for that game. The formula for the point system is as follows: pts = weight * (10 * sqrt[6/(final table rank)] - 9), where weight = (# of players/10). The final table rank would be 1 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, and so on. The weight factors in the size of the game, by awarding more points for making it to the final table in a larger game.

Efficiency

Efficiency is calculated by dividing the number of points you have, by the number of points you would have if you won every game you've played in. The formula for efficiency is as follows: E = [(your pts) / ((x/10) * (10 * sqrt(6) - 9))] x 100, where x = (# of players you've played against). So for example, if you've played in 3 games, and the number of players in the 1st game was 12, 2nd game was 18, and 3rd game was 15, then x = 45.
