SEEN HIS VIDEO ON MTV LATELY ?

The other night I was chillin back in my sweats on a chilly january night parked on my sofa flicking the remote. Suddenly for some reason I was in the mood for a music video. Actually a couple.

My first instincts led me to good ol' MTV as in music television. When I got there it was this non video show with the irrelevent rapper exhibit fixing up peoples broken down cars. Discouraged at first I calmly switched to the local cable guide channel to see how long this maddness was to last on mtv so I can get to some videos (their reason for existing remember!).

Much to my chigrin the next couple of hours of programing called for ABSOLUTELY NO VIDEOS! In their place was the newlyweds, real world, and other programs I refuse to repeat for fear of promoting this trash.

The only time I seem to catch a video their is MAYBE around 3am. Which personally is not the time I like to see them. Why is the m still in mtv? This looks suspiciously close to regular tv to me.

whatever happened to the "vj". The company idiot who would prounce in front of the camera in the hippest clothes on the market and give us video after video. Downtown julie brown where have you gone?

There's nothing more irritating than watching T.R.L. and one of your favorite videos comes on. At some point you will be interupted from your enjoyment and be forced to deal with a picture in picture of vanessa hayes from hollywood florida who is giving shout outs to her fellow adolescent peeps, meanwhile i'm missing my favorite part of the monica video (mtv shame on you).

Mtv's more about numbers than music. They should promote as such. Take the m out of your name and just announce yourself as what you have inevitably become. Just bad ol' fashioned television.
