My interest in aussies began way back in the mid 80's when I was attending obedience classes with my sheltie and there was another lady in class with a beautiful blue merle aussie.  That was the first time I had ever seen one.  About ten years later I was again exposed to them when accompanying a friend to a quarter horse ranch.  Not too long after that I went to look at a litter of puppies when a friend of mine  asked me to accompany her.  I immediately fell in love with those bundles of fur but decided I wanted to make sure that this was a breed I could live with first.  A year later in 1999 Cassie  came into my life and the rest is history. What can I tell you about Cassie?  She is unlike any other dog I've ever had.  Too smart for her own good and definitely has a mind of her own.  She is what started my love affair with the aussie.  No other breed will ever measure up. Cassie has been shown in altered conformation and has 2 WB, as well as a BOW and BOB to her credit,  in very limited showing.  Cassie has also been trained in obedience and agility although never actively shown simply because Cassie is at the extreme end of being reserved.  This means she does not care for strangers touching her and that makes it hard to show her, especially in obedience.
