| Jack was far now from the mall. he had been searching everywhere for the map only to realize he left it at the stupid mall. he couldn't go back, and it was too far just to get a stupid map. "Stupid north star **** !" Jack was fed up five in the morning, he was waiting for the sun to come up. No sleep, and no food. Jack was unprepared so he lied down on a hill to sleep. "Jack, Jack." A voice came form the trees." You must go back, to wauit for her." I'm dreaming this isn't real, he thought to himself. "Why should I go back she has what she wants, and I don't want to go back." Jack spoke up thinking he was sleep talking. "Jack its your destiny." the voice became crossed at him." if you don't go back, if you stay away then you'll live in darkness for eternity! "Oh then the big bad man will kill us all." Jack thought it was al just a hoax. "Jack I must leave I will be back, go home till the time comes for me to come again happiness will come to you believe me." the voice and the wind through the bush had stopped. Jack had climbed back up to his feet. He felt odd yet he knew the voice, but he couldn't put his memory to the voice. Jack took his bag and coat and for some reason without his own will walked back the way he came from the mall. |
| Jack arrived back at the mall, he entered seeing Cloe walking in her bathrobe & pyjamas and slippers. "Cloe shouldn't you be asleep in your room?" "I dam i'd jusd couldn'd find Pasdy you sdee." Jack laughed put down his bag and jacket and took Cloe by the hand. "Come on lets get you to bed, you'll catch pneumonia if you don't rest. I'll get your water do you need any medicine?" Cloe nodded sneezing at the same time. Jack had put her to bed gave her medicine and went back to his room to unpack. He didn't want to be there, but who was gonna repair everything Dal needed help. Jack went to work on a gizmo to work in his computer. Although this wasn't for long for he quickly began to think of Ellie. --------------------- |
| Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Ellie was now quite along into her pregrancy. Luke and her found a nice abandoned cottage on the north ridge of the city. Jack had thought of her every day, he felt horrible and deprived without her. Dal died and now he felt even worse. Cloe saw him differently and knew what was wrong. "Jack you nursed me back to health and I'll return that favor." She picked Jack's head up and looked at him. He was like a soul dead, but unable to leave until business would be done. "Ellie, she is gone and I'm worthless." Jack buried his head into the pillow. "Jack your not worthless, Ellie will be back I'm sure of it." Cloe tucked him into his bed. " Now get some sleep you'll feel alot better in the morning." Cloe kissed him on the forehead. Jack had thought how come Cloe is so nice to me. Luke turned back to his side of the bed. "No its not okay its been five months since we left, I should be over him." Ellie screamed this to Luke "El its alright just calm yourself and everything will be okay." "NO I"M NOT ALRIGHT I"M....I'm...I....I'm in pain!!!!" "El are you okay where is the pain?" "Luke I think my water just broke...AHHHHHHH!" Everything was a daze to Ellie she had felt the pain and remebered Luke talking to her. It was a cruciaitong twenty-seven hours for Ellie. Then finally three hours after her water broke the day before a beautiful healthy little boy was born. "What you gonna name him El." Luke was covered in blood trying to deliver the little boy safely. " Owen after my father, you okay with that Luke?" Luke nodded both just smiled and could finally sigh for both were very tired or could they sigh for it wasn't finally over. -------------------- |
