We are the Chickamauga Cherokee of the Sac River and White River Bands of the Chickamauga Cherokee Indian Nation of Arkansas and Missouri. Our tribe is rich with history and culture of the Tsalagi people whose roots pre-date the arrival of Columbus to our land.
Our extrordinary history includes triumph and tragedy, joy and heartbreak. Our extrordinary present is no different. We choose to be enriched by our culture and traditions and live with American Indian values and beliefs. We believe it will make us a stronger people; individually, and as a tribe.
