| SMACKdown! started with The Basham Brothers vs. Billy Kidman & Paul London, this match being for the WWE Tag Team Titles. After a distraction prevent Billy Kidman from pulling off the Shooting Star Press, Doug Basham gave Billy Kidman a Spike DDT off the top rope. After the first break of the night,Eddie Guerrero was shown backstage, he had sustained a concussion, he was knocked out cold. He was sent to the hospital, and was hoped to be back in time for the Royal Rumble later on in the night, (as you will read in the next sentence). Paul Heyman was in the ring, saying that after Chris Benoit went to RAW and challenged Triple H for his World Heavyweight Title, Paul Heyman wanted to give another SMACKdown superstar an oppurtunity to have a title shot at Now Way Out against the SMACKdown WWE Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Then, suprisingly, out came Mr. Vince McMahon! Paul Heyman presented an idea of a first ever, Network Television (Non PPV) Royal Rumble! It would consist of 15 SMACKdown superstars, 1 being added every 1 minute and 30 seconds, the winner to take on Brock Lesnar for the title at No Way Out. Vince went through with the idea, and left. Next it had the Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio set to take on number 1 contender Jamie Noble.(Match was for WWE Cruiserweight Championship) After Nidia tripped Jamie Noble, Rey Mysterio capitalized and pinned Noble after a 619, and a hurracurana. After the match, it showed Nidia take off her glasses, and could see perfectly fine. So obviously, this "blind" Nidia was an act. She then left Noble. After the break, Brock Lesnar opened a challenge to anyone in the WWE, to a match with him, that minute. Out came... Orlando Jordan!!! After Jordan got pretty much decimated, he was put in a Brock Lock, and was forced to tap out. Next, was the 15 Man, SMACKdown Royal Rumble. It was Kurt Angle to start off with Rhyno. Nothing happend in that 1:30, and out came Ernest "The Cat" Miller. As he knocked everyone down, 1 by 1, he started his dance moves, which costed him, when he was eliminated by Kurt Angle. Then out came Tajiri. He thundered everyone with enormus kicks. *FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF ELIMINATIONS CHECK BELOW* List is going from first eliminated to the winner. 1. | Not As Long As My 2nd Collumn, (my first RAW) but, this SMACKdown collumn is short because the show was really only the 15 man Royal Rumble. Like I said, its only my 3rd collumn. |
