In the Fall of 1997, three Freshmen women were attending Radford University. Having been from different backgrounds, they had one goal in mind; to begin a new chapter in sisterhood.

Being surrounded by Greek organizations, it was inevitable to say that these women wanted to be involved with a sorority. Not knowing which sorority to join, they searched for one that held sincerity, love and true sisterhood bonding. They did not find what they were looking for.

Coming to the realization that their Freshman year was over and Sophomore year was beginning, they had to face new challenges. This challenge involved deciding to create an all new unaffiliated school sorority. The first ever at
Radford University.

They made history on September 20, 1998.

This decision would be one of the most difficult decisions in their lives. Not being able to forsee the future, these girls were able to withstand scruntiny, hardship and opposition for the following years to come.

Through and through these girls continued to fight and were victorious over any problems they had to face; gaining more sister support and an increase in quality members. Tri Chi grew to become fifteen founding sisters after the Spring of 1999, who were fierce and ready to conquor any obstacle.

This is the history of Chi Chi Chi.
