1. Parents it is important that each participant attends each practice. This is where they build their knowledge and athletic ability about the sport. If your child will be absent, please call your Head Coach.
2. Parents please remind your child to bring all equipment to practice. (It is important that the proper attire must be worn to reduce the risk of injuries.) Any questions, please speak to any of your team coaches 3. Parents it is important and critical that you bring and pick up your child on-time to practice and to games. It is not the responsibility of the league or the coaching staff to be responsible for your child after or before pratice. We encourage you to monitor your time accordingly and be responsible parents. |
Each Football Player is issued the following equipment:
* Helmet with face mask & chin straps * (1) Mouth Guard * Shoulder Pads (Wear at least a t-shirt because of the straps) * Hip Girdle with pads * Thigh Pads * Knee Pads * Practice Pants * Game Jersey & Pants All the above items are required to be returned at the end of the football season, with the exception of the mouth guard. If items are not returned, parents will be required to pay a replacement fee. Each Football Player is expected to provide his own: * Shoes (molded rubber cleats, or detachable rubber or plastic cleats are permitted. No metal cleats are permitted) * Socks * Belts PRACTICE DAYS: * All participants should wear comfortbale and loose attire. Preferrably sweatpants or shorts. * Cheer participants should wear tennis shoes at all times to practice. * Football pariticipants should wear cleats to practice at all times. * Bring bottle water for during break at practice. GAME DAYS: * Football players must be arrive one hour and half hours (1 1/2) before each game. Each player is weighed in at least one (1) hour before the game. * Cheerleaders must arrive one (1) hour before each game. * Equipment bag is for game days and practice only. Do not use them for school or bring them to practice. Any misuse of your game bag, a board member will remove your bag from the participant and this participant will not have a bag for the remainder of the season. * Jewelry of any type shall not be worn during practice, games or competition (i.e., earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.), except religious or medical medallions, which must be covered by the participant's uniform. * The wearing of headgear containing knots, including beads and/or decorative hair ornaments is prohibited. * Participants are not permitted to chew gum or have candy in their mouths during practices or games. * Cheerleaders with fingernails, including artificial nails, shall be kept at a length appropriate for safe participation. The appropriate length for all members of a stunting squad means the nails are not visible beyond the fingers when viewed from the palm side of the hands. Further note: nail polish is prohibited at practices, games and competitions. |
