Yes, lets have a little fun -
                            ENRONGATE
The U.S. Government has done some shitty things in the past...
The worst part is it just keeps getting shittier.
These are compilations of links and comments I have chosen as worthy of noting.  Open your mind before running through these.
Oh, they aren't bullshit.  Everything you find here is either from or related to a credible news source.  Links to news sources you have never heard of usually include references to sources like the New York Times.
This shit is real.  Just remember that.
My favorite compilation on the internet regarding the worst thing the government could do:
This is a great link.  This guy has compiled tons of information.  A summary?  Well, he gives one.  References?  All there.
My summary?  September 11th was the work of our government along with the Taliban.  Coincidences occur, but this shit is just too crazy.  Read this.  Click on the evil head to the right!
Many people have forgotten about Enron.
Sure, it pops up once in a while in conversation or jokes, but do you really know what was up?
Read through some of these articles compiled by this witty author.  You will find ties between the Bush administration and Enron, links between the war in Afghanistan and Enron, and more.  Bush is no idealist, he is an oil whore.
The war in Iraq.
It's something thrown at us from many fronts.  War is a horrible thing, which everyone seems to agree on.  Why, then, do people get so pissed when protestors gather to speak against war?  "It is going to diminish morale".  Bullshit.  That doesn't happen.  You want to tell me that soldiers would be pissed if the protestors won out and the U.S. decided war was not the best option?  That a soldier would be pissed about going home?
Man, fuck you then!
When you turn on CNN, note that every time you see an anti-war protest, you will see a war support rally.  The interesting thing is that networks like CNN and MSNBC and whatever else will report on a protest rally of tens of thousands of people, then turn around and spend more airtime on a 50 people pro war "rally".  What the fuck is this?  Do you really go for this bullshit?
If you follow me, you know that the media LOVES the war.  Just remember, if anyone attacks this war, journalists (if you can still call them that) will tear them down.  Those who speak against the war are speaking 'against the war effort' (I quote this as a general quote, it's said enough that it is cliche).
The news you hear is not objective.  They want you to want a war.  They want it bad.
Senator John Kerry:
This is a great man.  He served in Vietnam.  He has three, count em', three purple hearts.  He has been considered the front runner in the democratic nomination for president.  Too bad that because of these same reasons, he may never take office.
John Kerry does not agree with U.S. foriegn policy.  Not with Bush's.  I'm not sure he really agrees with anyone.  This guy is the shit.  Shake up kinda guy.
He was recently bitched out for saying that we do not simply need a regime change in Iraq, but also in America.  Wow.
This kind of shit should get a man elected.  Unfortunately, the media got ahold of this (unless you're watching C-Span, you probably don't see much of the respectable Senator Kerry).  They turned it right against him.  Funny, a couple years ago republicans were under fire by the media.
They dared tell him that by challenging the president and calling for such an extreme rhetoric, he is harming America.  The country, the troops, you name it.
The Senator's response?  Simple.  I am paraphrasing a statement that was released by his advisors:  Let's see - the republicans bashing me have never worn a uniform.  I was in Vietnam, so if they want to lecture me on respect for troops - blow me.
Okay, it was more like "I'll just skip it" or something, but you get the idea.  Again, 3 purple hearts.  C'mon.
If you hear about John Kerry, perk up your ears.  I bet he will teach you something in no time at all.
No conspiracy about him, but rather about those that don't want to see him as president (either republicans OR democrats):  The government is not one to give us good men to vote for.  We get the pick of the crap that will sell out to whoever the highest bidder is.  If he does make it as the Democratic Candidate, then I will be one happy little camper.  Of course, someone would probably go and kill him for being honest....
