The Solution |
They're all gliding down on wings of steel, The final solution to all of our ills. There's a blank look on all the world's face. 6 billion people all frozen in place. In 25 minutes it'll all start to change, We'll wipe the slate clean, begin it again. Science moved forward by leaps and bounds, Moving much faster with each new discovery found. Then along came a genuis with real fuzzy hair Who came up with ideas that no one else dare. Brand new ideas about time and space, Brand new ideas that could change this whole place. Though nobody knew it and nobody geussed, This was the way we could clean up our mess. 40 years later we built the machine, And wouldn't you know, two whole cities it cleaned. Now I've thought but I still can't explain, Why it took until now to use it again. But now things are ready, we're all set to go, 20 more minutes til the start of the show. I hear they'll be fireworks as bright as the sun, And booms that are louder then a million guns. In one bold sweep we'll wipe out all that is wrong, Whether racism or war, all of it's gone. It all should be gone for at least 3 billion years, Goodbye all my friends, no tears... no tears. |
