First off I want to start by saying that it was an honor to make this tribute. I really had a great time doing it and hopefully Evil Never Dies will be able to create more things like this in the near future. Now on with Pamela, I really have no idea who to compare her with. She stands alone and is in a class all by herself, Perhaps her and Norman Bates have something in commen. Norman just loved his mother and Pamela loved her son, Jason. She was just pissed when people tried to reopen the camp that her son was killed at. Seriously , can you blame her. If your kid died at a camp and then a couple years later they tried to reopen it wouldn't you be mad?I know I would. I don't think killing everyone was the right way to go but what the hell why not? She had some great ways of killing people and it sure in the hell entertained all of us. Like the arrow and Kevin Baccon's neck, that was priceless. I can't explain how happy I was when I first saw that. And who would have thought that a woman like Pamela would carry around an ax and drive it into people's heads. That is great stuff. Sure, she has some problems upstairs and some counseling would have probaly helped out Mrs. Vorrhees but it's a little late for that now. With out Pamela Jason wouldn't be pissed and kill everyone he sees and we wouldn't have the series we have today. I think that Mrs. Voorhees did a fine job of being the first killer in this series and she would be proud of jason and all his work he has done.She has really made herself an important person in this series. How else would Ginny trick Jason in Part 2? Who would grab Chris in part 3? And how would Freddy trick Jason in Freddy Vs. Jason? Well here's your answer, they wouldn't . Without Mrs. Voorhees this series would suck.. She's the base, the legs they stand. It all revolves around her. I think alot of the Friday The 13th sites out there overlook that. That does kind of piss me off considering she was the start of everything. And if she found out that people were over looking her she'd probaly chase you down with an arrow and an ax. But really Mrs. Voorhees is a key chacter in the series. So please don't just think she is some dumb mom out there killing people for her son. She's more than that. She is Friday the 13th...and much more. Plus Betsy Pamler did an awesome job of portraying her. Who would have thought that owning your own car and driving you r way to work everyday would be so helpful. Anyways folks, my point is that Mrs. Voorhees kicks ass and if your not a fan of the first film then watch it again and pay attenion. I will try to get Cap'n Pimp's commets on this subject but it's hard telling when he'll be around or have time. But until then, thank you all. Enjoy the rest of the site. |
