We are planning a local day ride soon on a Lampasas ranch and it will cost $10 a person, payable in cash please to the Ranch Foreman. The ride will be around 10:00 am and last about 3-4 hours. Terrain is scenic and not very rocky.
**Anyone can organize a day ride--and we can help you with choosing a ride location.  If you want to ride on
Ft. Hood, we know the trails and can get
area clearance for the whole group.

PLANNED CAMPOUT RIDE:
September-October Weekend Ride
Hill Country Area Natural State Park (Bandera)

Everyone pays as they go, bring your own grub & drinks, lawn chairs...and of course the horse!  We'll ride out early Sat morning 8/8:30 a.m. & return to camp in time for lunch, then ride out again in the afternoon at about 1:30/2:00.  Sun a.m. ride out 9/9:30 & return to camp for lunch and to break camp or you can stay & ride longer of course, on your own.  Camping is primitive, so bring potable water and the generator for your A/C.  The park will make reservations ahead of time at the equestrian trail heads if you call TPW or logon to their website.  Riders can show up Friday afternoon to get settled.  Recommended horses are shod--terrain is VERY rocky.  There are lots of shade trees and plenty of space.
Send us an email or give us a call with your questions.
