Tip of the Month January

Roll out the butcher paper.  Gather up crayons, markers, watercolors, tempera, construction paper and other art supplies.  Give each child a few minutes to create his/her small part of a mural promoting peace.  Allow them to interpret peace in any way they wish through mosiacs, drawings, words, etc. Allow the children to press their palms in paint to create the border.  Display the masterpiece in the hallway for all to see.
