Above is a trike that belongs to a person named Pat. He lives in Green Bay area of Wisconsin. He sent me these pictures of his trike and the paint job. I thought the paint job was real cool so I ask permission to post them on my web site. They first show the priming to the finished work.Hope you enjoy.
These are different angles so you can see the trike design.
This paint job was done by some old man and a tatooed freak. This is what I was told. Nah, their names are Ron and Mike, Mike doing the flames.
Here you can see Pats hand brake, as he lost a leg to cancer.
This is a rear view of the trike.
Here he has painted the trike a deep dark blue, that looks almost black in the shade.
Here is the good stuff, where they start to paint flames on the trike. I like these flames because they show real looking flames and not the graphic ones you see most of the time. here he is painting the base with a white.
Above is another shot of the base being shot on the trike.
Here he is starting to add some color to the flames. He is painting a yellow over the white flames.
Mixing yellow and an orange begins to make the flames look real. Whoever is doing this paint job is good. He is detailing around the instrument openings.
Here you can see Pats hand brake again.
Another shot showing more of the trike paint job.
Here he is starting to wrap the flames around the main body of the trike.
Here you can see the trike in the shadows, showing the deep blue which makes the flames really stand out.By the way, this is Mikes first try at flames. I think he deserves a standing ovation.
