The following are pictures of the 2009 Polar Bear Run, sponsered by The Riders of the Wind, out of Cookeville. There were about 5 groups represented here. The Riders of the Wind, The Southern Cruisers, The Hirum Riders, Wheels for Christ and Christian Motorcyclists Association. They wound up with 22 bikes and 2 trikes. There was a group which met at Dipsie Doodle then rode on to Loves Truck Stop to meet some more riders. The first shot is of a Temp. gauge on a bike, showing the temperature earlier that morning.

Here is a shot of some of the bikes that met at Dipsie Doodle to ride over to join up with those at Loves Truck Stop.

This is a new Spyder trike with the two wheels in front.

Another shot made at Loves Truck Stop.

Finally on the road toward Gainsborough to meet up with another group.

The group is arriving at the Dairy Queen at Gainsborough to meet with some more riders. All will wind up at Watertown at The Depot Junction Cafe for a meal.

Another shot of the gang from up in the road.

I guess Nancy is making a face at James Lane, as he took the most of these pictures. There were 2 vehicles, Nancy drove this van and Everett drove his truck. We accused him of being soft, but his side car outfit was down.
