Here is a print of a circuit, that will sound an alarm to remind you that you have a turn signal on. Stop the ones you ride with, from always motioning to you to remind you. This circuit will let you know. This circuit uses two 3 amp diodes from Radio Shack (the size is more for mechanical strength than necessity), and a buzzer also obtainable from Radio Shack.
Here is a shot of the actual diodes as they are hooked up. Notice the ends with the bands, (pointing left) go to the buzzer. The other ends are attached to the hot wire going to the turn signal lites. It doesn't matter which goes to the right or which goes to the left, they both are the same. I use barrel quick connectors, in case something goes wrong then it is easy to replace, the buzzer or the diode circuit. Use a little silicone grease in these connectors and that will help prevent corrosion. Be sure to use a buzzer that is loud enough for you to hear, with a helmet on. 95 or 100 db. By the way make sure you install the quick connectors the way they are in the picture. This way if you remove a component you won't have a live wire that can get to ground. One tip, when useing this type connector always put the female end on the wire that will be hot when unplugged, because the male end is not insulated. think of the regular plugs and receptacles in your house.
