First and most important, is that when you are cleaning a doll, the wire frame inside can't ever come into contact with water or any liquids, this is what causes the green coloring on their bodies because the wire is corroding. If you have to do a thorough cleaning, I suggest using a Q-Tip with a little soap and water. For "time slime" I have found that a product called Goo Gone works wonderfully and will clean them right up! For this you can also apply with a Q-Tip. If their hair needs a wash, you must first pop their head off so the body doesn't get wet. Conditioner works great, I rub through the hair, let it sit for a few, and then rise and dry with a hair dryer on a low setting. For clothes, I haven't tried too many products but Woolite works well along with Shout stain remover.
