Edmund Sydor, the owner and operator of Trikfx, originaly apprenticed in the Czech Republic at the Trnka Studio for Puppet Animation, eventually becoming a master armature builder under the guidance of Ondre Zika, Milan Vins and Vit Lebeda. He has worked with numerous studios, primarily Olive Jar Animation in Boston, where he functioned simultainiously as Technical Director, Rigging and Fabrication Supervisor and Motion Control Operator. Trikfx now operates in the New York City area, continuing the pursuit of perpetuating old world craft for modern solutions.
