We had a very joyous Christmas here and a very happy ending for 4 of our rescue chinchillas! They are now in forever homes with their new families all of whom have great chinchilla experience! We are glad that all of our chinchillas are healthy happy and having a good mating season! So we should have a nice batch of Spring babies!! No news on Breggo and Kyle was upset that his boy was not home for christmas.

8 of our rescue chinnies are in forever homes and we could not be more happy and grateful to the families who adopted them!!! WE are anxiously awaiting the start of our "X" year for babies with 5 girls due within the next 45 days (hopefully!). Ariel is looking at discontinuing her Lionhead rabbit breeding program so she can actually breed and care for her own group of chinchillas. We are excited to talk with Pam Oldham and Ronda Frazier about getting her some neat chins to work with! She likes violets (unlike me) and since I agreed to 1 she now wants a group to breed she is thinking a white violet or solid violet male and a white vc girl and a black velvet vc girl. Hopefully Pam or Ronda has these for us this spring!

It has been a busy month here at PPSC with all of the kids returning to school and getting back into a routine of school, sports, chinchillas, and family life! We are heading to Ronda's in about 3 weeks and are so EXCITED!! We are going to have a blast not only purchasing chinchillas but gettting to visit Ronda and all of her Chinchillas!
February 15 2009
We just had our chinchilla trip to Ronda's in Hermiston and what a fun day! WE picked up the dwarf chinchillas and what little cuties they are! Then we also picked up 4 others 3 for our beige line and an adorable white ebony male that looks like he is wearing sunglasses. Then we found Bindi Sue had her kits, two beautiful Homo Ebony males.

We recently heard from Sagebrush chins regarding our dear Breggo and they say he was killed by his mate this winter. It is very veyr sad and we have ALOT of hurt feelings to deal with but we have learned a valuable lesson about what friendship should really be and how much you can really trust people no matter how long you know them.
A SAD Story of loss!
IN 2007 our chins stayed for a month with SBC at which time our family was going through a VERY VERY rough spot which ended in the worst emotional fight of my life during a very nasty divorce! I supplied them with all cages, all the food and supplies I had, as much cash as I could muster up ( a couple hundred $$) and let them have some chins for free. Well my family situation did not change and I put many many chins up for sale. I know it was a hardship on them to ship the chins and thought I had done my best as a friend to compensate them for helping my babies but if they did not find new homes so I had the money to find one myself they would have been hurt or worse.I gave SBC all of my cages except 6 (over 20), Supplies (carriers, supplements, containers, etc.), Chinchillas, and the cash I sent them with which was ALL I had to keep forever as my only way of being able to say thank you and this is what happened:
Well in the packing the few up I could keep at my mothers they "FORGOT" to bring our precious Breggo!!And now in 2008 we are still waiting to hear from Sagebrush Chinchillas as to when they will return our beloved TOV beige Breggo whom they are calling "TITAN". We have called, emailed, and even tried pm'ing Michelle and have no response. His ranch brand is QSP52!!!Here is the last picture we have of him our color class champion male from Vinn Somavia.THe hardest part is that my son is 11 now and Breggo was his chinchilla as well as Breggo's mate Sage and he misses Breggo TERRIBLY!
We have recently heard from SageBrush chins and our dear Breggo "was killed by his mate this last winter during the cold cold months" as Sagebruch chins let us know so we are now left with nothing but alot of hurt feelings.
We are grateful for the chinchilla people who are ethical and trustworthy and take care of our babies! THANKS JAMIE for helping us out so much with our chinchillas and with Skywalker! And THANK to Chrisanne for extending your heart to Kyle with Jet, I hope you know that whenever you say you want the favor returned just holler at me girl!!
March 14 2009
As of today we have ALOT of tan and tan white chinchillas! Somehow a color we normally do not breed for has become our most popular color in the chin room, so we will be offering some of thse gorgeous chins for sale soon! We are working on a new cage rack to support the cages and getting all of our breeding groups together so this fall we will have a nice baby boom hopefully!
March 20 2009
We now have X5 a nice little Sapphire Ebony carrier male!! He is doing good so far! We have begun going through all of the tans and even though there are some awesome awesome ones we cannot keep them all so we have a few girls and one male who I wish I could justify keeping! We are just too small for another male in the tan line and since I have his mom I will wait til she has a another male of a different color to keep.
