Losing the Battle
Standing in the shadows,
staring at the wall...
looking in the mirror,
walking down the hall...
gazing down the courtyard,
dreaming of what used to be...
Something cold and evil,
haunts this place with me...

Running through the darkness,
Escaping the unknown...
falling over branches,
tripping over stones...
Gathering up my skirts,
trying not to look behind...
something cold and evil,
tries to control my mind...

Hiding in the graveyard,
weaving through the trees....
Feeling cold and tired,
Breathing without ease....
Searching through the forest,
Looking out for an escape....
something cold and evil,
stares into my face...

Giving into terror...
knowing I have lost,
Battling for possession,
Fighting for the cost....
Losing my protection...
feeling left behind.
Something cold and evil,
takes away my mind.

Sunrise

Sunrising over the sky
it looks at me
As I lie down near the sea.
Bright, golden rays,
Full of life.
I watch and stay,
as they cut me like a knife.
The water glistens and shines
as I listen to the lines of magic waves
crashing over the rocks.
As the sun rises
over the sea.

Forever

Out beyond the stars,
reach through the darkness,
feel me by your side.

Forever apart,
but never alone.
Millions of miles away.

Shining down upon you,
glowing from the sky,
the moon holds my face.

Reach out for my hand,
it will always be there to grasp.
Never slip away.

Love has no boundaries,
even death defies.
Heaven still remembers.

Brain

If you think
You
can
escape

From
me,
You'd
better
Think

Again.
Because.
I  was,
I am,
I always will be,

Part of
you.

A Brush with a Stranger

Midnight...it encompasses the air.
Your heartbeat is heard through the defeaning silence.

Moonlight...it glimmers behind the clouds.
Your eyes are seen glistening through the emission of light.

Shivers...they slither up my spine.
Your teeth expose themselves to me through your burgandy lips.

Blood...it pulsates in my veins.
Your swiftness overwhelms me as you puncture through my neck.

Life...it withdraws from my body.
Your emotions protect me as you escape through the darkness....

We come and go so quickly,            Our birth is sweet yet brief,
   Our lifetime but a whisper,
      A moment fast and sweet.

We take too much for granted,
We take and give so much,
And yet our life flies quickly
        Until we turn to dust.

No matter how long it seems
              The moments truly fly,
         One year turns into many,
       Ten years go flying by.

We never know when it’s coming
May be today or next week
Could be five, fifteen or fifty,
No matter, they are all brief.

            So cherish what you’re given,
               Remember every moment.
                They might fade away,
              Before you even know it.

Tell all you love, you love them.
         Tell them every day,
Because it may just be tomorrow,
       They may be taken away.
