Do wishes come true?

I wish I could help you
But I wouldn�t know how
I wish I could say something
But I know I�d stuff it up somehow
I wish you would communicate
Your silence is so dark
I wish you would stop crying
Tears burn like acid, leaving marks
I wish I could cry with you
But I haven�t for so long
I wish the tears would fall forever
But they just refuse to come
I wish you�d tell me what was wrong
Not bottle it up inside
I wish you�d get it over
And stop pretending to hide
For all those tears that never fell
And never will again
I wish you'd say you love me
And make me forget my pain
